Principal Accountabilities

In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Complex forecasting and procurement strategies for multiple product groups.
• Cross-functional planning meetings and vendor negotiations
• Provides vendors with timely order adjustment requests based on current market conditions.
• Provide strategic recommendations on inventory allocation and shipment methods.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and product setup accuracy and confirms in transit quantities to determine any issues.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to inventory obsolescence and scrapping.
• Procures product to ensure adequate inventory to meet sales forecasts and planned DOS.
• Develop and refine planning tools and processes to improve efficiency.
• Mentor junior planners and contribute to team development.
• Analyze and report on inventory performance metrics to leadership.
• Creates and maintains inventory planning report (IPR).
• Ensures accurate new product set-up information (e.g. sku, description, weights).
• Analyze sales forecasts, product trends, and inventory levels to optimize sales and while ensuring an adequate inventory.
• Reviews reasonability of sales forecast and ensures that products are procured.
• Plans and schedules rework at the distribution centers.
• Determines allocation of inbound products to various warehouses.
• Provides recommendations regarding specific methods of product shipment.

Main Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in planning

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and SAP for report consultation (SAP IBP)

• Intermediate English (conversational)

• Analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively
