Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking exceptional sales account managers to join our company to help drive growth and sales of existing and new products. This position will oversee Epson's Midwest United States territory.  We are looking for successful sales people with direct end-user selling experience to small and medium size business, education, and house of worship customers selling technology print products and solutions.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Build and deploy a territory account plan to grow Epson business inkjet printer sales to small and medium size business, education, and house of worship customers
  • Responsible for driving and building the territory with the local Epson channel sales team for all printer product sales – inkjet and wide format printing. Manages strategies and drives flawless execution of tactics to grow print hardware and solutions sales to end-user customers.
  • Own and lead print sales engagement with Epson sales team, pre-sales technical support, internal advanced support teams, and or channel partner to assess customer needs and recommend winning solutions
  • Focus on driving large print opportunities with strong account planning and management, optimizing Epson print solutions and leveraging resources to quickly drive pipeline
  • Ability to apply print subject matter expertise to solve common and complex print, workflow, document management and managed services solutions to drive an Epson print solution win and sale at end-user accounts
  • Adept at selling in total cost of print ownership including MPS environments, cost-per-page, cost-per-copy, service to both dealers and end user customers
  • Selling value of affordable color print solutions utilizing inkjet technology and be the print expert and resource for the team
  • Ability to drive page growth (color) and selling in MPS environments and the ability to drive sales through solution selling that includes hardware, software and services
  • Direct selling into large territory: will include cold calling, engagement with channel partners for lead generation activities, SFDC, LinkedIn, partnering with associations, trade shows, etc.
  • Ability to develop executive and team relationships quickly and gain trusted advisor position to enable the sales of Epson business inkjet printers
  • Establishes a strong Epson presence within account base at decision maker and management level
  • Manages, protects and develops territory base by analyzing and developing solutions for new and existing customers, strong written, communication and presentation skills; delivers and supports inkjet technology in the territory with dealers

About your experience:

  • 2+ years of end-user small and medium size business, education, and/or house of worship sales experience selling directly to end users
    • Selling print technology, document management, document workflow, cost per copy, cost per page to end user customers is a plus; channel sales experience is also a plus
  • Direct selling and account management experience
  • Up to 65% travel in assigned territory
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S)
  • Working knowledge of MPS, Print Calculators, etc
