Long Description

Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviews complex daily orders placed on export hold, recommends release, and approves orders (e.g., regulated chemicals, denied persons/countries, controlled software).
  • Assists with tariff classification research for imported/exported products.
  • Collaborates with Product Management and Customer Account Services to resolve supply chain issues.
  • Clears inbound and outbound shipments using appropriate system programs.
  • Maintains the company’s low-risk importer status by ensuring adequate compliance controls.
  • Coordinates the nationalization process for shipments, working with logistics suppliers to ensure timely and compliant processing.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are available and properly handled to facilitate the nationalization process and meet company requirements.
  • Communicates the availability and release of merchandise to expedite the billing process.

External Job Description

Responsible for reviewing the import/export entries for appropriate HTS classification, clearing custom entries for all inbound and outbound shipments as needed, and serving as the main point of contact for relevant supply chain activities. 
Collaborates with/Key Customers include:

  • Latin America Subsidiaries
  • Planners,
  • Warehouse

Reports to:

  • Supervisor, Logistics & Customs

Minimum Experience Requirements

B - Requires some specialist or admin experience (2- 5 years)

Education

D - Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.).
