Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Sr. Technical sales support specialist to join our (FAR) Factory Automation Robotics team. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of pre-and post-sales customer satisfaction by contributing to the development of innovative application solutions.

Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Applications Engineering

  • Collaborate with CAM to deliver product demonstrations.
  • Educate, and train Distributors, SI's and End User’s about Epson products.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales applications support to meet customer requirements.
  • Support Channel teams, SI’s and End Users by providing assistance in resolving technical
    and application issues.
  • Collaborate on exceptions to procedures and escalate applications issues.
  • Provides technical feedback to Product Management, based on customer feedback.
  • Provide telephone, email, and on-site engineering support for applications’ related issues.

Service Support

  • Analyze product failures and make appropriate repairs to return equipment to production status via telephone, email, and/or on-site support.
  • Perform on-site maintenance to deployed products and conduct operator maintenance training.

Trade Show Support

  • Support the building and programming of specialized applications for demonstration at trade shows.
  • Support trade show activities through demonstration setup, technical sales support, and tear-down.

Responsible for:

Ensuring high levels of pre-and post-sales customer satisfaction by assisting in the development of innovative applications solutions.

Collaborate with/Key Customers including:

  • Channel Partners 
  • End-Users
  • System Integrators
  • FAR Sales

Reports to:

  • Sr. Manager, Technical Sales Support and Applications * Factory Automation Robotics.

Main Requirements 

  • +5 years of experience  in the robotics industry mainly with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)
  • English and Spanish advanced communication skills. 
  • Open to travel between the US and Mexico.
