Principal Accountabilities

In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Establishes and maintains performance and quality standards for the technical operations group.
  • Supervises, directs, and coordinates the efforts of technicians and reports failures.
  • Leads the technicians to ensure efficient processes.
  • Achieves or exceeds planned production output.
  • Ensures that team focuses on exceeding customer expectations in all aspects of the Depot operations.
  • Coordinates staff movement and training schedules in order to ensure that the Depot is properly staffed to achieve operational goals.
  • Establishes and maintains a regular presence on the Depot floor/assigned departments.
  • Prepares reports according to customer requirements.
  • Coordinates cost savings activities and processes improvements within the Depot operations.
  • Ensures that supply levels are maintained for efficient operations.
  • Identifies exceptions to performance standards and take immediate corrective actions.
  • Implements operational policies and procedures and ensures compliance.
  • Manages administrative functions and reports.
  • Effectively disseminates administrative and operational information.
  • Creates and maintains work instructions.
  • Ensure 6S compliance.
  • Actively participates, supports, and executes Epson’s safety, security, and maintenance policies.
  • Actively participates in the Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001).
  • Responsible for hiring, motivating, evaluating, and developing group/department personnel.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • Advises management and provides recommendations on personnel and problematic conditions that require escalation.
  • Builds strong relationships with peers and senior management to best meet company goals and objectives.
  • Operates within budgetary constraints.
  • Participates in the development of annual budget forecasts; updating and reconciling operating and budget plans as required.
  • Develops and maintains written departmental standards and procedures.
  • Directly contributes to the development of tactical and annual operating plans by assisting in defining goals and objectives for the group.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $78,000 and $88,000 per year. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
