Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervises assigned functions related to the physical shipping and receiving of inventory to ensure that all records are accurately maintained, inventory properly controlled, and orders filled in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Participates in development of shipping and receiving, quality, and rework processes to ensure maximum efficiencies are gained and performance standards are met.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound carrier schedules and appointments to meet targeted time frames.
  • Communicates and ensures adherence to customer compliance requirements for all outbound shipments.
  • Recommends improvements for space utilization within designated area.
  • Prepares reports and communicates performance results to team and management.
  • Actively supports, and executes safety, security, and facility maintenance programs.
  • Accurately maintains and approves payroll records.
  • Accountable for the effective use of warehouse management systems within assigned area to maximize efficient use of labor, and meet shipping, inventory, and customer service goals.  
  • Makes recommendations for the continuous improvement of the system’s utilization.
  • Ensures adherence to Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001-2000) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) programs.
  • Participates in third party audits of the systems.
  • Serves as an ISO team member.
  • Responsible for hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing group/department personnel.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • Advises management and provides recommendations on personnel and problem issues ( that require escalation).
  • Builds strong relationships with peers and Senior Managers to best meet company goals and objectives.
  • Manages and leverages relationships with vendors for a specific product/service (best price, best product, etc).
  • Operates within budgetary constraints, participates in the development of annual budget forecasts; participates in updating and reconciling operating and budget plans as required.
  • Develops and maintains written departmental standards and procedures.
  • Directly contributes to development of tactical and annual operating plans, defining goals and objectives for the group.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $65,000 and $80,000/year. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
