Long Description
Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attract, manage, and develop government customers.
- Develop and execute Account Plans by industry verticals, ensuring continuous follow-up and growth.
- Manage the sales pipeline and opportunity forecast.
- Propose, develop, and execute demand generation activities, including increasing customer engagement, communicating new products and solutions, identifying customer needs, and participating in events and trade shows.
- Lead and manage responses to public tender processes in collaboration with our business partners.
- Provide support to internal and external customers regarding inquiries related to the assigned segment.
- Conduct product demonstrations for end users independently or in partnership with the Presales team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams by providing information required for tender submissions, change management initiatives, maintenance services, extended warranties, and other related activities.
Main Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing government key accounts, with expertise in public procurement and government contracting processes.
- OSCE (Organismo Supervisor de las Contrataciones del Estado) certifications are highly desirable, as well as a strong understanding of Peru's Public Procurement Law No. 30225.
- Experience in Managed Print Services (MPS) sales is desirable.
- Previous experience managing accounts within the Banking and Healthcare sectors is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Intermediate English proficiency is desirable.
- Experience using government procurement platforms, including SEACE (Electronic Government Procurement System) and Perú Compras Framework Agreement Electronic Catalogs.
- Experience designing Standardization Technical Specifications (Homologation Sheets) to define and structure Minimum Technical Requirements (MTR) for IT equipment and digital solutions required by public entities.
Education
D - Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.).
