This dynamic group acts as an in-house Agency, helping our technology product teams create compelling point-of-sale displays, web content, packaging and more. Our Editor role is unique in that it includes both writing responsibilities, for a full-range of technology products, as well as an editorial role, which encompasses reviewing collateral and maintaining and distributing current branding guidelines, company-wide. Copy Development

  • Concepts, researches, and writes content for all Epson branded products
  • As a member of the product launch team, participates in launch meetings, creative input meetings, copy review meetings, and approval meetings
  • Collaborates with Product Management, Merchandising, and Creative staff to ensure copy meets intended product positioning and reaches target audience as defined by Marcomm briefs
  • Serves as liaison with Legal department to ensure Merchandising publications meet trademark and legal guidelines
  • Researches, writes, updates and maintains the Merchandising services procedures manual
  • Conducts informal market reviews of competitor product copy and collateral materials

Content/Review Editing

  • Ensures quality standards by providing peer reviews and editing of materials for accuracy and consistency to departmental standards
  • Ensures packaging, collateral and POS materials meet corporate standards, in-house style guidelines and legal requirements
  • Maintains the corporate style guide, copy database, legal disclaimers list, templates and other tools required for quality assurance
  • Minimum two years of related experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Agency experience preferred
  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
