Product Manager II, Tactical Marketing

The role will be part of the Tactical Product Management Team, which works closely with a broad range of cross-functional departments including Product Management, Sales, Operations, and Finance to provide business intelligence solutions to address complex planning issues and help identify key metrics to drive data-driven decision making.


The Tactical Product Manager will be the chief collaborator between the business and technology teams to provide critical information that supports the development of solutions to improve operational efficiency, consistency and compliance in support of the organization’s financial and tactical business objectives. This role develops, maintains, communicates and trains the organization on business practices and processes.   In addition, this role will support the Senior Product Manager, Tactical Marketing, in carrying out any missions of the Tactical Product Management Team.  The role will require working with Epson employees in both North and Latin Americas.

  • Support the business with solutions that improve business operations by using cutting edge platforms and technologies
  • Maintain the integrity of company data and put checks in place to ensure accuracy
  • Apply a broad range of analytical techniques to identify business-critical trends and insights by exploiting big data
  • Develop dashboards and reports within the company platforms/solutions to allow teams to easily explore data pertinent to their ongoing operations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for data analysis methods and tools, as well as data visualization best practices
  • Support the development of the BI solution through its full life-cycle, from  concept to delivery
  • Lead the full report development life-cycle, including working with users to gather and document business analytics such as data, layout and delivery requirements
  • Communicate and coordinate all project activities with both on-site and third-party in-region resources
  • Interview various non-technical managers to understand complex, dynamic business rules/processes and then create detailed, specific and comprehensive solutions
  • Continuous research in BI technology field to seek new ways to enhance BI applications and increase users’ satisfaction
  • Demand forecasting and resource management

Personal traits:

  • Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, communicative
  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree required.  MBA preferred.
  • Prior functional roles desired:
    • Finance, Operations (Forecasting), Sales Operations, Corporate Strategy,  IT Systems, Management Consulting, or other analytical fields
  • Language:  Fluent in English and Spanish.   Portuguese skills highly desired but not required
  • Ability to travel up to 30% both international and domestic
