Epson, a global leader in innovative imaging, printing, and consumer electronics, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our high-performing sales team. 
In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding and supporting a robust Value-Added Reseller (VAR) channel to drive adoption of Epson Scanner solutions across key verticals—including State & Local Government, Healthcare, Federal, Finance & Accounting, and the broader Commercial sector.

What you will be doing:

 

Sales Strategy and Performance

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other Epson sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.

 

Administrative

  • Develops and provides Sales Operations with monthly product forecasts.
  • Adheres to all Epson administrative policies and procedures.
  • Maintains Salesforce.com account database of contacts and activities.
  • Provides monthly pipeline sales forecasts to sales management.
  • Operates within budgetary constraints.
  • Submits weekly activity/call reports.

 

What You Will Bring:

  • 5-12 years of sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing a high-performing VAR channel
  • Proven ability to develop and nurture strategic partner relationships in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong understanding of channel sales dynamics and go-to-market strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience selling into verticals such as government, healthcare, or finance is a plusSelf-starter with a collaborative mindset and a passion for driving results

 


Travel:

  • Up to 50% travel.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $103,691 and $178,848. This position will have a 65/35 commission plan.  Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
