The Marketing Specialist supports large format product management activities with a strong hands-on focus. This role works closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Service to support product launches, customer engagement, and market development activities. The position is designed for someone with print experience, curiosity, and strong drive, who wants to grow into a full Product Manager role over time.
In this role, you will combine technical, creative, and collaborative skills to help bring Epson’s large format solutions to life in the market, supporting both internal teams and external partners while developing a deep understanding of Epson products, customers, and business strategy.
This position will be based out of our Los Alamitos, CA office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Support large format printer products throughout the lifecycle, from development to launch and post-launch activities.
- Conduct live product demonstrations for internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Produce high-quality print samples and application outputs to showcase product capabilities.
- Participate in trade shows, sales meetings, and customer events, representing Epson products and solutions.
- Work hands-on with printers to evaluate image quality, performance, media behavior, and reliability metrics.
- Assist in developing marketing content including presentations, videos, sample kits, and sales tools under supervision.
- Support competitive analysis and benchmarking efforts with guidance from product management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing Communications, Sales, Service, Documentation, Logistics, and Operations.
- Gather customer and partner feedback and help translate insights into product and marketing improvements.
Growth Opportunity
This role is intended as a development path toward a Product Manager position. Over time, responsibilities may expand to include greater ownership of product positioning, launch execution, and business planning.
What You Will Bring
- Hands-on experience with printing technologies, ideally large format, production, or commercial print environments.
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn product management, marketing, and business fundamentals.
- Comfort interacting with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both technical and non-technical settings.
- High level of initiative, organization, and follow-through.
- Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting product demos, trade shows, or customer-facing technical roles.
- Familiarity with print quality evaluation, media testing, or workflow optimization.
- Interest in growing into a product management or product marketing career.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $75,307 and $103,546. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
