The Senior Sales Planning Analyst-Sales Compensation, is responsible for assisting with the implementation and management of the sales compensation plan to motivate Epson’s sales force to achieve sales goals, providing recommendations on quota methodology, and providing on-going reporting and analysis of key factors impacting sales compensation plans.
This position will be based out of Epson America’s headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA with a hybrid schedule.
What you will be doing:
Sales Compensation Administration
- Interprets and enforces sales compensation program, policies and procedures to ensure adherence to program
- Provides guidance to field sales on interpreting the sales compensation program
- Provides recommendations on sales quota methodology and participates in quota setting process. This includes reviewing quota assignments as recommended by sales management to maintain fairness and integrity of sales compensation program
- Administers all aspects of the sales compensation program (e.g.,tracking and reporting sales & quota attainment, timely commission payment, quota assignment, claims auditing, account assignment)
- Assist in the evaluation of new commission system
Sales Analysis and Reporting
- Assist with the monthly End-user sales data processing. This includes cleansing of raw data in POS reports, process all cleansed data, then upload into internal systems for sales claiming
- Creates regular and ad-hoc reporting to analyze activity by customer, product, channel, and program
- Become expert in the current sales data management systems
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in sales compensation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Strong data management and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate insights clearly.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams, with a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
- A team player and mentor, capable of coaching others and contributing to a supportive team environment.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $93,191 and $113,900. . Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
