Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Senior Architect to join our Information Systems 
team. 

 

Are you successful at looking at the overall solution, taking business requirements to build a solution for business partners?  Are you both hands on and strategic?  As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for the management of Enterprise Architecture across the Americas for Epson’s Sales and Marketing Systems.

 

The primary responsibilities of the IT architect include:

  • Owns the solution architecture and design across Salesforce, Pardot, Marketing Cloud and other applications supporting the Sales and Marketing teams. The role also requires definition, documentation, roadmap for current and future states, resolves technical issues in areas of ownership. 
  • Engages with Salesforce at various levels. 
  • Customize Salesforce to fit business requirements.
  • Resolves technical issues in areas of ownership
  • Ensures that all parts of the technical design are correctly incorporated
  • Defines the development tools and environment
  • Provides technical support and quality control leadership through all stages of operations and projects
  • Plays lead role in the selection, evaluation and implementation of necessary vendors and technologies
  • Plays a key role in recommending process improvements.
  • Understands underlying Data.

Principal Accountabilities
In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Understands company needs to be able to define systems architecture and systems specifications
  • Understands present architecture and drive technological features that drive future architectures
  • Proposes practical strategies for leveraging technology as enablers for driving IT and Business value 
  • Responsible for tracking the enterprise architecture portfolio and assists project teams to shape architectures consistent with platforms, roadmaps and standards for architect and design
  • Leads the planning and design of the structure of a technology solution \Communicates system requirements to development teams and supports development and implementation
  • Leads the evaluation and select appropriate software or hardware and integration methods
  • Leads assigned programs and provides guidance to team members
  • Owns leading and solving technical problems when they arise
  • Ensures the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure solutions
  • Owns addressing technical concerns, ideas and ongoing improvements
  • Monitors systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
  • Leads, develops and implements plans to facilitate and coordinate delivery of technical services and support
  • Ensures acceptable levels of performance for IT systems to meet business requirements
  • Creates and maintains technical and operational documentation
  • Stays current with technological developments in the marketplace, new advances and features in technologies
  • Ensures systems maintenance plans are developed, planned, executed, tracked and adhered to 
  • Leads requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) processes related vendor and technology evaluations, recommendations and selections
  • Provides leadership in the change control process aligned with policies and procedures
  • Manages reporting in area, enforces adherence to IT departmental guidelines, policies, security, compliance and controls


Required Skills and Experience

  • Requires senior managerial or highly specialized level (10+ yrs.)
  • Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
  • 10+ years of experience with Salesforce products like Marketing Cloud, SalesCloud, Pardot is a must. 
  • Experience customizing Salesforce to fit business requirements.

 

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $156,972 and $203,140. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.  The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
