Business Development Manager - Western Region

Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Business Development Manager to join our company for our Business Inkjet Team. The candidate must have 10+ years of experience in the BTA or Printing Marketspace. This position will be responsible for driving growth within our current dealer channel as well as adding additional dealers within the region. It would be preferable for candidate to be based in the Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, or Denver areas. 

Principal Accountabilities

In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Sales Strategy and Performance

Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.

Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.

Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.

Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.

Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.

Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.

Manages potential channel conflict with other Epson sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.

Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.

Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.

Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.

 

Administrative

Develops and provides Sales Operations with monthly product forecasts.

Adheres to all Epson administrative policies and procedures.

Maintains Salesforce.com account database of contacts and activities.

Provides monthly pipeline sales forecasts to sales management.

Operates within budgetary constraints.

Submits weekly activity/call reports.

 



Relationship Management

1.  Builds strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives.

Minimum Experience Requirements

D - Requires specialist experience at more advance level (8-12 yrs.)

Education

D - Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.).

Travel

All Travel - Up to 50%
