We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager, Process Improvement to support our distribution center by leading and developing across a large, fast-paced distribution environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Assistant Manager, Process Improvement you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the deployment of Lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives across operations
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, training, and leadership engagement
  • Developing and managing a portfolio of improvement initiatives aligned with business priorities
  • Executing data-driven projects to reduce waste, improving process flow, and enhancing quality and service levels
  • Identifing, evaluating, and prioritizing automation opportunities across operational workflows
  • Developing and implementing short-, mid-, and long-term automation strategies
  • Leading implementation of automation solutions and partnering with cross-functional teams for integration
  • Conducting cost-benefit analysis and tracking return on investment for improvement and automation initiatives
  • Building organizational capability through training, mentoring, and certification programs in process improvement methodologies
  • Analyzing operational data to identify performance gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators and reporting dashboards
  • Leading system optimization efforts related to operational platforms and tools in partnership with technology teams
  • Driving space utilization and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and throughput
  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of initiatives
  • Developing team members, promoting accountability, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

 

What You Will Bring

Your background and experience should include: 

  • Proven experience managing and developing leaders at the Supervisor level or higher
  • A track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvements
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms 
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to improve operational efficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated success in driving safety, quality, and compliance initiatives
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $90,000 and $110,000 per year.  Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
