Principal Accountabilities

In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages all functions related to the physical shipping and receiving of inventory to ensure that all records are accurately maintained, inventory properly controlled, and orders filled in an efficient and timely manner
  • Develops and recommends performance standards and targets for designated area(s)
  • Develops relevant processes to ensure maximum efficiencies are gained and performance standards are met
  • Identifies most cost-effective transportation methods 
  • Ensures assigned carrier schedules and appointments are coordinated to meet targeted time frames
  • Ensures customer compliance requirements are communicated 
  • Ensures adequate materials are available for processing '
  • Develops warehouse layouts to ensure efficient space utilization within designated area.
  • Provides reporting, performs analysis, and makes recommendations  to Senior Manager related to warehouse performance of designated area and implements improvements.
  • Manages administrative functions related to billing, inventory transfers, export documentation, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Participates in the development, actively supports, and executes safety, security, and facility maintenance programs
  • Ensures team is trained and utilizes Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001-2000) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)
  • Ensures systems are continually improving
  • Participates in third party audits of the systems
  • Responsible for hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing group/department personnel.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • Advises management and provides recommendations on personnel and problem issues ( that require escalation).
  • Manages and leverages relationships with vendors for a specific product/service (best price, best product, etc).
  • Operates within budgetary constraints, participates in the development of annual budget forecasts; participates in updating and reconciling operating and budget plans as required.
  • Develops and maintains written departmental standards and procedures.
  • Directly contributes to development of tactical and annual operating plans, defining goals and objectives for the group.

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $95,000 and $115,000 per year. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
