Long Description

Principal Accountabilities

  • Manage general maintenance, including building, furniture, air conditioning, fire extinguishers, vehicle fleet, among others.
  • Create purchase orders and process payments for the Facilities area.
  • Ensure compliance with the corrective and preventive maintenance schedule for the office.
  • Administer supplies and materials: purchase and receive cafeteria items, cleaning products, office supplies, printer materials, water dispensers, etc.
  • Manage general building services such as potable water, ornamental plants, elevators, access systems, alarm systems, and electronic waste.
  • Coordinate and oversee drills, emergency brigades, medical emergencies, and alarm systems.
  • Manage the Facilities budget and consolidate the annual travel agency sales report.
  • Lead special projects and specific purchases based on demand.
  • Monitor compliance and continuous improvement of the 5S methodology and related incidents.

Principal Requirements 

  • Technical or Bachelor´s degree in Occupational Health Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Costa Rican regulations for building administration and maintenance.
  • Previous experience managing maintenance, cleaning, security, and other general service providers.
  • Knowledge of occupational safety.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
