Principal Accountabilities

In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate the providers of air transport and sea together with the parent company.
  • Participate in the annual election of air transport providers and shipping together with the foreign trade dpto.de EAI.
  • Consolidate the merchandise available in Miami and give instructions for the shipments
  • Keep the information in SAP shipments and estimated arrival dates.
  • Coordinate with the customs agent paying offices.
  • Create folders with the respective import costs associated with shipments.
  • Maintain import the files updated with all relevant information.
  • Keep the information of tariff and corresponding percentages for each product.
  • Coordinate together with the responsible warehouse receiving the goods paid for within the system.
  • Make sure that input costs are within reasonable parameters.
  • Check maturities of electrical safety certificates and licenses.
  • Order the DJAI merchandise from both EAI and the free zone.
  • Request information from countries of origin to the store and bring an updated form of the status of the DJAI.
  • Coordinate with the responsible of inventory control that goods must cross to the country
  • Place in the system needed to create the file with its corresponding import goods costing
  • Provide required information in its operation to both internal and external auditors.
